SPORT updates Ilkay Gundogan has chosen to leave Manchester City and sign a free-agent two-year contract with Barcelona.
In recent months, Manchester City has taken steps to attempt and lengthen Ilkay Gundogan's time at the Etihad Stadium.
The 32-year-old signed a four-year contract with City in 2019, thus his current agreement expires at the end of the current campaign.
Gundogan, however, has been in and out of City's starting lineup recently and is considering his options.

According to the article, Gundogan feels it is time to leave Manchester after signing a two-year contract with the club in 2016.
