Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are among the players whose contracts expire at Real Madrid this summer.
Los Blancos previously opted for an unchanged approach to members over the age of 30, awarding them one-year contract extensions.
Meanwhile, they will help the club defend the Champions League and win the elusive Copa del Rey title since the 2013/14 season.
Real Madrid could bring some of their proven players out the door of the club this summer.
The La Liga giants are currently in a transitional period of losing their experienced core to the next generation.

New faces like Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouameni and their colleagues will replace Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and others, who could leave the club this summer.
Kroos and Modric are part of a seven-man squad that is ending at the Santiago Bernabeu. Sports Brief looks at this group of players whose contracts end in 90 days.
1. Karim Benzema
Possibly the biggest name on the list of players whose contracts expire after the season.
Benzema, the current Ballon d'Or, has gone from supporting Cristiano Ronaldo to becoming the mainstay of Los Blancos.
The Frenchman proved useful to Madrid in important matches, especially the Champions League round of 16 victory over Liverpool. His time at the Santiago Bernabeu is coming to an end with his current contract coming to an end. The club are said to intend to open contract talks with the 35-year-old in April.
2. Toni Kroos
One of the remaining midfield trio consists of Luka Modric and Casemiro, who have dominated Europe and led Real Madrid to an unprecedented Champions League treble.
The former Germany international has chosen to retire from the national team to extend his club career in 2021, and he remains a key player for Los Blancos. According to Football Transfers, Kroos' current contract with Madrid will end on June 30.
The 32-year-old has always said that he prefers staying at Madrid.
3. Marco Asensio
Asensio is out of contract this summer and has options elsewhere. Oddly enough, Real Madrid seem reluctant to offer the Spaniard a bigger role in the squad or the corresponding salary he wants. Speaking about Asensio's situation, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano told Caught Offside:
"Discussions are continuing between Real Madrid and Asensio. No final decision has been made yet. His agent spoke to English clubs last summer, but it was Asensio who had to. decision:
new deal or go for free."
4. Luka Modric
Toni Kroos' team-mate Luka Modric is aging like fine wine and faces a similar situation to his midfield colleague.
His contract expires this summer and the terms of a new deal have yet to be agreed with Madrid, on a 90-minute basis. He has dismissed reports linking him to Saudi Arabia, insisting he does not want to leave Los Blancos just yet.
modric said:
“I know that the press always has to write the news, but I have said the same thing many times and I repeat that I want to stay at Real Madrid.
"I would love to retire at Real Madrid. It's great. We'll see."
5. Dani Ceballos
Ceballos signed a six-year contract with the La Liga giants for a transfer fee of around 18 million euros in July 2017 but has since been loaned out and played on the periphery.
