4. Takumi Minamino
Takumi Minamino is an important player in Jurgen Klopp's squad whenever the German strategist needs to rotate the squad. However, the striker was not satisfied with playing a supporting role at Anfield and decided to leave.
He eventually joined Monaco, where he failed to make an impact despite playing regularly.
Takumi has only scored 10 goals in 48 appearances for the club since joining the French club.
3. Philippe Coutinho
Beloved during his days at Anfield, Phillipe Coutinho turned his back on Liverpool fans at a time when they needed him most. The Brazilian became a fan favorite at Anfield before expressing a desire to leave the Premier League giants.
Coutinho tried unsuccessfully to push for a departure in the summer of 2017, with Barcelona as his first destination.
He finally got his wish in January 2018, moving to Camp Nou in a lucrative deal worth more than £140m.

However, the player failed to make his mark at the Catalan club and was eventually sent back to the Premier League with Aston Villa.
2. Gini Wijnaldum
Wijnaldum won everything at Anfield before deciding it was time to leave.
The Dutchman gave up Liverpool to move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2021.
However, he has gone from being a regular starter at Liverpool to settling into a place on the PSG bench.
Wijnaldum is currently on loan at Roma by Jose Mourinho.
