Africa is endowed with individual talents sufficient to compete and challenge Europeans in any kind of activity, whether in sport or academia. But some factors such as corruption slow down development and trigger large numbers of migrants. Exactly Nigeria has great talents, especially in the field of football.
Despite the talent, Nigeria does not go far in international football as most of their options are to play for other countries, abandoning their homeland. According to my research and findings, here are some Nigerian players who are playing for another country in Europe.
Eberechi Eze.
Eberechi Eze is currently one of the most talented young players in the English Premier League. The English Nigerian is playing for Crystal Palace.
Bukayo Saka.
Saka is arguably the best young player in the Premier League and one of the best in Europe. The English-born Nigerian is a source of attack and one of the most important players in Mikel Arteta's squad.
Karim Adeyemi.
Adeyemi plays for Borrusia Dortmund and has represented Germany at international level. After scoring just one goal to beat Chelsea in the Champions League, the German-Nigerian player says the local Nigerian dish FUFU makes him hungry. Noni fruit
Madeueke. Noni, who joined Chelsea in the summer, was called up to the England Under-21 squad during the recently concluded international break. The English-born Nigerian was the best young player in the Eredivisie before joining the rebuilding of Graham Potter.
Noah Okafor.
The 22-year-old currently plays for Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.
Samuel Edozie. Edozie, meanwhile, currently plays for Premier League club Southampton. Although he has yet to be called up to the senior England national team, which makes him available to play for Super, I don't think he would pick Super Eagles over the Three Lions.

Real Madrid eye La Liga club captain to strengthen their left-back position
For a few seasons, Barcelona were interested in signing Jose Gaya from Valencia as a permanent solution at left-back. However, Jordi Alba's performances coupled with the Spaniard's hefty price tag made the move impossible.
With Alba's contract set to expire in 2024, this could be the perfect time for Barcelona to sign Gaya.
Almost out of nowhere, however, during the pre-season, Barcelona were surprised by an Alejandro Balde, who has now become their number one choice against Jordi Alba.
Luckily for Gaya, Real Madrid are looking to sign a left-back this summer to bolster a troubled position. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Valencia captain's name has gained strength at the club.
Madrid's interest in Gaya stems from his frustration with Ferland Mendy. The Frenchman has not performed as expected and could be sold this summer.
Madrid are also keeping an eye on Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies but they know that signing him from Bavaria is almost impossible. As there are not many alternatives available on the market, Gaya could prove to be Madrid's choice. The Spaniard will also get a discount this summer considering Valencia's place in the league. The Spanish giants are 18th in La Liga and if relegated, could be forced to sell some of their properties at discounted prices.
While problems persist at left-back, Madrid will also look to strengthen the right-back position. While Daniel Carvajal is expected to stay, he could be demoted to second pick in the dissection order, with Jeremie Frimpong and Reece James on their radar.
Either way, with more than two months until the transfer window opens, Madrid will continue to scour the market in the hope of finding the ideal solutions for all their vulnerabilities.
