According to former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan, Mason Mount is demanding a hefty salary to stay at Chelsea amid interest from Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Mount has yet to reach an agreement with Chelsea over a new contract, with the Daily Mail claiming the 24-year-old has turned down a £200,000-a-week offer.
Jordan told talkSPORT:
“The problem he has at Chelsea right now, as far as I know, with the contract situation and the possibility of leaving, is that there are quite odd salary requirements.
“I think they are in the middle of £200,000+. I also think he wants to stay at Chelsea, but he wants the salary to prevent this conversation. "It also prohibits transfers to other football clubs."
