There is no more information that Manchester City put pressure on Liverpool after the 4-1 win right at the Etihad. Mohamed Salah scored the opening goal of the game but goals from Alvarez, Gundogan, De Bruyne and Jack Grealish were enough to mark the important return of Pep Guardiola's side.

However, fans continued to talk about the mentality of Liverpool's game as Manchester City overwhelmed the visitors. Likewise, there has been talk of Manchester City signing without Premier League top scorer Erling Haaland, but this article will focus on the first coach to beat Jurgen Klopp 10 times in his coaching career.

first. Pep Guardiola.

The Manchester City manager is currently the only manager to have beaten Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp 10 times. The last 4-1 win at Etihad was the 10th victory of the Spaniard. Note, however, that Pep Guardiola has faced Jurgen Klopp 27 times and four of those wins have come during his time at Bayern Munich.

On the other hand, note that Jurgen Klopp has faced Manchester City four times this season and both coaches have won two games each.

Jurgen Klopp has always been a symbol of Liverpool. Since 2015, the German has turned Liverpool fans from skeptics into believers. However, if you were a Liverpool fan this past season, you will realize that we are back with doubts again.

Klopp's Peak (2018-20 & 2022/22)

Liverpool have really raised the bar for the top four as title contenders since 2018, following their recent Champions League final loss to Real Madrid (a team that has always been Klopp's nightmare). After a huge frenzy, with the signings of Fabinho, Naby Keïta, Alisson, Shaqiri and more, Liverpool are expected to have a bit of a title challenge but will pose no small threat to those who used to be. The previous title winner was Manchester City. These statements turned out to be false. Liverpool played extremely well in the 2018/19 season when it finished with 97 points, just 1 point behind the champions Manchester City. They will win the Champions League after losing last season. 19/20 Liverpool, do we still need to talk about it? 28 games unbeaten, 99 points and the first to win the PL title (by match day). 20/21 was a shock retirement, with FSG lacking investment in the LFC's midfield positions, with the sale of Dejan Lovren. However, it was an unlucky season, and the LFC were 1 point and 1 win behind after a historic treble on 22/21.

INJURY AND AGREEMENT:

The Fall of KLOPP

This section and February 21 have a recurring theme. INJURY. Over the past three seasons, Klopp's side have faced more injuries than most in the PL, causing Liverpool's season to be severely disrupted, including the loss of successful Luis Diaz. Klopp's intense and rigorous training method has caused many injuries and turned players with a good injury history into fitness rats (Naby Keïta), causing much confusion for the Liverpool squad and ultimately causing the lack of endurance and physicality of the players since last season. as seen from little runnung and pressing in this season.

Klopp's stubbornness goes without saying the game. Like the recent loss to Manchester City, Klopp has had some strange substitutions (for Salah for no real reason) as well as his stubborn inability to adapt to a 4-4-2 formation this season. The move to 4-4-2 makes Liverpool much stronger, beating Man City and Tottenham, and Liverpool are on a six-match winning streak before the World Cup, including a 2-0 victory over the Serie A rulers. Naples. After the World Cup, Klopp returned with a 4-3-3 and since then, Liverpool have been shaky, despite big wins over Man Utd and Everton. He rarely changes tactics in the game, which makes his play style predictable. More frustratingly, Klopp maintained Liverpool's high formation, despite the disappointment of Trent Alexander-Arnold's defence as well as the decline of Virgil van Dijk, leaving Liverpool vulnerable to attack.

It's still not good for LFC, in the long run

FSG. Although rarely mentioned, FSG's lack of investment shows the huge lack of ambition of a big club like Liverpool. The way Klopp won LFC titles on his budget is insane. There are VERY few if NO coaches who can produce the results Klopp has, despite his flaws this season.

ALTERNATIVE OF KLOPP

Julien Nagleman. Despite his problems with Bayern, he has led Bayern to dominance in the CL and Bundesliga, and his adaptation to youth and tactics coupled with his attacking football could make LFC what it short-term championship contenders.

CONCLUSION

I love Klopp. He will be someone I will always admire. How he managed to do what he did with FSG
