Xavi hits reporters after being asked about autographs, explains why

During the press conference before the match against Elche, Xavi was asked about Barcelona's plans for the summer transfer window. The coach didn't like this question at all because he thought it was better to focus on other issues.

"We haven't talked about next season with the board yet. We're one step away from winning titles and you're talking to me about next season. You're the best person to change the subject. ," Xavi told Diario Sports. "On Wednesday we can qualify for the Copa del Rey final and we have a chance to win it. Sometimes I don't understand you.

"All year you have pressured me to win trophies and now we are one step away from you asking about players for next season. Let's focus on Elche."

Indeed, Xavi is right when it comes to the present and the right time to talk about the future.

Now is the time to show appreciation for what Barca have achieved this season instead of changing course. The Catalan side could win their first championship since 2019 and their first domestic double since 2018.

Premier League club considering a move to Cristiano Ronaldo in January

Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United in January after his second stint at the club ended in tears. It is now believed that another Premier League club was considering a move for the Portuguese forward at the time.

After Erik ten Hag arrived at Old Trafford, Ronaldo's role at the club dwindled and that's something the 38-year-old struggled to deal with...

Ronaldo behaved in a heated manner and did an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan in which he criticized United from top to bottom.

It was the fall that broke the camel's back.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur considered signing Ronaldo after Daniel Levy and Antonio Conte discussed the matter before deciding not to sign the veteran. It's hard to see where Ronaldo could fit into at Tottenham, and I don't think he'll increase their chances of breaking into the top four.

Ronaldo is currently playing football in Saudi Arabia.
