Manchester United have been linked with a brace for Napoli duo Victor Osimhen and Kim Min-Jae.

As reported by The Athletic, Financial Fair Play will complicate summer transfers for Manchester United this summer, regardless of ownership.

That's why it's important for United to try to spend wisely and judiciously, and try to sign stars before their transfer value peaks.

Two players who are interested in the Red Devils are the duo Victor Osimhen and Kim Min-Jae of Napoli.

Double for Victor Osimhen and Kim Min-Jae

Victor Osimhen has scored 25 goals in 29 games this season and Italian newspaper Il Mattino have reported that Napoli could ask for up to £150m. Centre-back Kim Min-Jae has a £43m release clause that Napoli are trying to renegotiate and increase ahead of the summer transfer window, Goal reports.

Even with a release clause, the pair could have the best price of £200m. If the release clause is removed, Kim's market value will skyrocket.

Napoli would feel entitled to claim such wealth. Osimhen and Min-Jae are part of a team that looks set to win its first Serie A title in 30 years. They also reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they were rated higher than AC Milan and highly rated to reach the final.

If that happens, let alone win the entire contest, then Osimhen and Min-Jae's prize pool will peak. Manchester United may really not be able to sign either, let alone both.

United need to find the next big stars

Manchester United is a difficult club to recruit. Clubs immediately demanded exorbitant prices when the Red Devils called. Picking young players does not always work, as they are not ready for the high demands and pressures of playing for a club like United.

That's why proven winners like Casemiro can perform so well. But there must be a middle ground.

United must try to sign a better striker on the rise without paying a nine-figure fee.

Instead of always playing catch-up, it would be great if Manchester United could strike the star deals at the right time. Do you have something to tell us about this article?
