Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouameni has been linked with leaving the Spanish club at the end of the season.

A report from Fichajes claims that Premier League clubs Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing the 23-year-old midfielder.

Obviously, Real Madrid are not convinced by the 23-year-old midfielder's performances and may be looking to sell him at the end of the season.

Liverpool are desperate to strengthen their midfield and they tried to sign the French international before he joined Real Madrid. The opportunity to sign him could be an attractive option for the Reds and it remains to be seen whether they can secure his service this time around. Tchouameni could be the ideal replacement for captain Jordan Henderson, who has fallen seriously this season.

Jurgen Klopp needs to bring in the quality between players to challenge Liverpool and a move to the Premier League could give Tchouameni the fresh start he needs at the moment.

Likewise, Arsenal need to bring in a reliable partner for Thomas Partey and the France international looks like the ideal long-term option.

Both clubs would represent a great move for the Frenchman should Real Madrid decide to sell him.

Aurélien Tchouameni is admired by Arsenal and Liverpool

Arsenal is perhaps a more attractive destination at the moment as they are well-positioned to win the Premier League and poised to return to the Champions League. Liverpool have had a disappointing season so far and could miss out on a place in the top four.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid paid 100 million euros (£88 million) to sign the player and it will be interesting to see how much they ask for his services.

Man City coach Pep Guardiola with midfielders Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva

Pep Guardiola has publicly and privately admitted that he will not prevent an indispensable Man City star from leaving this summer and TEAMtalk can reveal the player's most likely next club. .

Man City ripped off a pitiful-looking Liverpool on Saturday to keep the heat on top Arsenal. The Gunners responded by beating Leeds Utd with a 4-1 scoreline like the one Man City had created just hours earlier.

Besides Erling Haaland, another notable absence from Man City's starting line-up is Bernardo Silva.

However, the Portuguese remains an important figure for Guardiola, as evidenced by the fact that he has made 40 appearances in all competitions this season. Only Rodri (41) has done more.

Silva, 28, has been repeatedly rumored to be leaving City over the previous two summer transfer windows. A move to Barcelona was announced, although they tried as hard as they could, they never failed to complete a great move.

Indeed, the idea of ??placing Spaniards Gavi and Pedri alongside the much more experienced Silva would be extremely appealing to Barca's Xavi.

Now, speaking exclusively to TEAMtalk, reliable journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Silva's long-awaited move to Barcelona could finally materialize at the end of the season. Jacobs revealed that Guardiola will not stand in Silva's way if he tries to leave. Furthermore, as his contract (which expires in 2025) will now be a year shorter, the previously quoted £80m transfer fee will no longer be necessary.

Barca will still have to shell out a significant amount of money, which could be a problem given their well-documented financial difficulties. However, if they can raise the required amount through the sale of players, a deal with Silva will be done.

Bernardo Silva's 'very real possibility' is gone

"There is a very real possibility that he will leave Manchester City for a new project just because he has gone there and done everything," Jacobs said. "Maybe it's time to move on, but nothing is locked at the moment because Silva has great respect for the club and Pep Guardiola."

On the Barcelona links, ?Jacob continued:

"[Club president] Joan Laporta has said that Silva is a very popular Barcelona player.

“If we go back to last summer when they were seriously looking for Silva, they hit a barrier just because City wanted more than £80m.

"Barcelona has financial problems, and even if they can find the funding, they could pay a lot less before this summer. Silva's price will drop as usual, as his contract has one year left.

“If Silva told Man City he wanted to leave, Pep Guardiola has hinted publicly and privately that he will not object to Silva. "Then it just becomes a matter of negotiation and Barcelona's problem is that they will still have to find a fee. If Silva wants that move, the concept of a discount deal is very unlikely. .

"So Barcelona will have to tie up spending on any of Silva's potential candidates if they want to succeed."

"Joan Laporta told me last year that Silva is a good candidate for Barcelona and I quote 'an incredible player'. So that's something to watch.

Jacobs went on to say that PSG have also assessed a move for Silva and, unlike Barcelona, ??will have no trouble funding a move. However, there is a sense that "people have turned their heads" at the prospect of joining Barca. As such, if the Portuguese conductor finally leaves the Etihad this summer, a move to Camp Nou is his most likely destination.
