City also expressed regret over songs sung by a section of their supporters in connection with the Hillsborough disaster during yesterday's clash, insisting such songs have no place in the game. Recalling that message, a spokesman for the Football Association criticized those involved.
“We are very concerned about the rise of hate speech at stadiums in connection with the Hillsborough disaster and other football-related tragedies.
