Real Madrid lacked depth in some positions on the pitch. So it's important for them to make sure they don't lose any more key players this summer. However, some contracts are set to expire at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether the club can agree to an extension.
One player whose contract expires this summer is Marco Asensio. Despite not making regular appearances for the club, he has played as an influential substitute consistently and to great effect. So if Asensio leaves, Real Madrid will likely have a hard time finding a worthy replacement for his role. On the other hand, signing the Spaniard does not appear to be lacking in interest.
According to TUTTOmercatoWEB, Arsenal are very interested in Asensio. AC Milan are also keeping an eye on the Spaniard.
Arsenal are very interested in signing a Real Madrid player
It's not hard to see why so many people are interested in signing with Asensio. The Spaniard has the ability to impact the game from the bench, which is rare in football.
Yes, it is true that Asensio never realized his potential and became a superstar at Real Madrid. But even then, he is an important part of this team and the best-case scenario would be if he signs a new contract and stays at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Asensio is only 27 years old and is entering the peak of his career as a player. If he wants to find more game time, it will be difficult for him to start at Arsenal. However, the story could be different at AC Milan, especially if Brahim Diaz returns to Real Madrid this summer.

Liverpool are said to be "very interested" in Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Jesper Lindstrom, who can be offered for a reasonable fee.
The Red Devils have joined Arsenal in exploring the possibility of signing the 23-year-old, with both clubs claiming they have made contact with Frankfurt.
That's according to Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg, who described Liverpool as "very interested" in the player while Frankfurt was "open" to allowing him to leave.
Lindstrom has nine goals and four assists in 31 games this season, and although his club are looking for around £44m, Plettenberg says the "real" fee would be in the range. from 30.8 million to 35.2 million pounds.

The Denmark international is usually active as one of the club's two No 10s, but it is likely he will play in the traditional midfield role if the Reds take him to Merseyside.
Liverpool are actively looking to strengthen their midfield for next season and Lindstrom could offer an option as part of a midfield three.
His reported price tag could attract Jurgen Klopp as he is unlikely to be the club's only acquisition in the role this summer.

Lindstrom has previously admitted he grew up as a Liverpool fan and that playing for the Reds is one of his future goals.
He was linked with a move to Anfield by Danish publication Tipsbladet in January, who relayed his remarks to TV 2:
"I've always said that I'm a Liverpool fan, so it would be nice to play for Liverpool at some point."
Lindstrom's current contract expires in 2026, but Frankfurt are clearly considering a transfer this summer.
He has made an impressive nine caps for Denmark including Christian Eriksen and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
