Xavi is expected to make a tactical change against Madrid, which worked wonders last time

Diario Sport reports that Xavi plans to use Ronald Araujo at right-back against Madrid on Wednesday.

The Uruguayan was originally a centre-back but he was used on the right side of the defence as he was one of the very few players in the world who could contain Vinicius.

He showed it in El Clasico before, keeping Vinicius in his pocket for most of the game (despite an own goal) as Barca beat Madrid 2-1.

Arsenal loanee Nuno Tavares is said to have been kicked out of Olympique de Marseille by manager Igor Tudor. Fans on Twitter reacted to the incident, saying that Mikel Arteta was right to send the player on loan.

Tavares, 23, has scored six goals in 33 appearances in all competitions for Marseille this season. The Portuguese left-back made 28 appearances for the Gunners before moving to the French club on loan last summer. His loan deal expires this summer. However, L'Equipe reported that Tudor was not satisfied with Tavares' training efforts and sent him away. The Croatian coach recently spoke about the work ethic of his players (via Get French Football News):

"There's a trait in my football where you have to run, otherwise... If I see a player not running in training, I'll say it once, twice and then a third time when asked. I will intervene.

Tudor added:

"In an hour or two of training, I ask the players to understand that, but if they want rest days, I can also give them some. And we can joke or laugh, but work. is work."

Tavares clearly did not fit Tudor's training criteria, so drastic measures were taken against him. Arsenal fans reacted to the incident on Twitter, with one fan writing:

"Arteta was right."

Here are some of the best reactions on Twitter after Arsenal loanee Nuno Tavares was sent off in Marseille training:

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reacted to Gabriel Jesus' performance against Leeds United

After leaving Manchester City last summer, Gabriel Jesus quickly established himself as an important Arsenal player. However, he injured his knee during the 2022 FIFA World Cup and required surgery. Jesus was sidelined for a considerable time. The Brazilian found his way back to scoring when he scored a brace in the Gunners' 4-1 home win over Aston Villa on April 1.

Arteta reacted to Jesus' performance, telling the media after the game (via the Gunners' official website):

"I'm happy for him. They've all been cheering for him and he's worked really hard over the past four or five months with a lot of obvious support from the team and staff. Today he is. deserved the chance to play and he took it with a lot of faith and scored two very important goals."

Arsenal restored their eight-point lead over Manchester City with a win, after playing one more game. An exciting match at Anfield against Liverpool is the next match for Arteta's men (April 9).
