It is with a heavy heart that we must report the confirmed passing of Edmond Asirifi Marfo, a final year student whose potential and bright future was tragically cut short. The news of his passing has shocked and saddened the entire community, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
His passing has left a void in our community that will be difficult to fill.
Edmond was a promising young student who had dedicated himself to his studies and was well-regarded by his peers and faculty members. His passion for learning and his positive attitude towards life were infectious, and he had a bright future ahead of him.
Kidney failure was the cause of his death. It all started in March when he began experiencing blurred vision. He decided to go for a check-up, and the results showed that he had an abnormal blood pressure reading. He was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he stayed for a while. At the young age of 22, having a blood pressure reading of 200 and above was alarming, and the hospital advised him to return home while they conducted further tests.
Despite not showing any signs of illness, he was eventually informed that both his kidneys were failing, which came as a shock to him. He initially refused to believe the news, hoping that he could treat the ailment with natural herbs. However, time was not on his side, and he was unable to pursue this course of treatment.
At this time, we would like to express our deepest condolences to Edmond's family and loved ones. We cannot imagine the pain they are going through, and we offer our support and love during this difficult time. Edmond will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on forever in our hearts.
