Real Madrid fans are encouraged after Eden Hazard made his first La Liga match since September 11, 2022 on Sunday night in a 6-0 win over Real Valladolid.
The 32-year-old, who recently admitted his relationship with coach Carlo Ancelotti has broken down, has played a non-existent role in Los Blancos' season so far.
In fact, Hazard's stay in the Spanish capital has been a general disappointment since his move from Chelsea for £88.5m.
But after showing positive signs on the training ground recently, the Belgian made a brief but impactful appearance on the bench at the Bernabeu against a defeated Valladolid.
In addition to creating four chances in the La Liga clash, he also had an assist for Lucas Vazquez during the 28 minutes. Karim Benzema impressed with a hat-trick in the seventh minute of the game, but Hazard's performance impressed many, including Carlo Ancelotti, who hinted he would give the player the This player plays more in the first team.

Hazard's performance was also praised by fans on social media.

Last month, Hazard insisted he wanted to stay at Madrid after this summer and wanted to "show that I can still do it" at the highest level.
He also added that he has 'respect' for Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti, but revealed that they do not speak to each other anymore in their professional relationship.
"I want to stay. I've always said that. I hope to play and show that I can still do it," Hazard told RTBF. “People have doubts, it's normal, I understand. But for me, next year I will still be here. You never know, but a transfer is not in my plans.
“There is respect between Ancelotti and me. But I won't say we talk to each other, because we don't. But there will always be respect.
"I have to respect [for] someone like Ancelotti. For what he stands for in football and what he has accomplished in his career.
