Man Utd interested in Leverkusen right-back Frimpong

Frimpong is still waiting to make his national team debut and was left out of the squad by new Dutch coach Ronald Koeman for Euro 2024 qualifying last month.


Frimpong began his career at Man City but did not get to play for the first team until joining Celtic in September 2019. He played 51 games for the Scottish champions before joining Leverkusen in January 2021.


Erik ten Hag has brought in Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back since becoming United manager in the summer, the former making 33 appearances and the latter making 22 appearances this season .
