A few years can see a lot of changes in football and for players, their form can decline rapidly in a short time. This is why many football fans will always appreciate the longevity of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Since 2018, a number of big football stars have fallen from grace and we will take a look at some of them in this article.
In 2018, Dele Alli was one of the hottest football stars in Europe. The English player is experiencing the best period of his career at Tottenham Hotspur. However, five years later, the midfielder's market value has dropped from €100 million to €11 million.
The biggest love affair in the current football field history is Eden Hazard. The Belgian star is one of the best players in the world in 2018. He has won the Premier League with Chelsea and is the nightmare of almost every defender. However, since moving to Real Madrid, his shares have plummeted. The Belgian star, once valued at 150 million euros, now has a market value of 8 million euros.
Philippe Coutinho is another player whose form has declined quite quickly and surprisingly. The Brazilian star was one of Liverpool's best players during his time at the club.
When he won the big move to Barcelona, ??he was worth 150 million euros. However, his move to Barcelona did not work out and his loan spell at Bayern Munich also paid off. Today, he has a market value of 14 million euros.
Former Real Madrid star, Isco is another player whose form has dropped significantly. The Spaniard was one of the best players in the world in 2018 with a market value of 90 million euros, but a string of injuries and absences led to a move to Sevilla. He is currently valued at 9 million euros.

Liverpool have made Jude Bellingham their number one priority this summer, but former Reds midfielder Emre Can has offered advice to the Borussia Dortmund star
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Emre Can speaks to ESPN.
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Emre Can speaks to ESPN.
Former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has given advice to Reds number one target and Borussia Dortmund teammate Jude Bellingham after a fiery clash.
The pair appeared to have chatted on the pitch during the 4-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga clash. Thomas Muller scored twice thanks to Kingsley Coman on the scoreboard after an unusually disastrous error from Gregor Kobel gave the Bavarians the lead in the 13th minute. The 19-year-old Dortmund star is receiving interest from top clubs across Europe, especially from Jurgen Klopp, who has left his future uncertain. Despite the speculation, he continued to put on some winning performances as Edin Terzic's side looked to dethrone Bayern.
During their defeat on Saturday night, the former Liverpool midfielder expressed outrage at some of the England international's actions.
When asked about when he was angry with Bellingham, he replied:
"Jude is still young and he has a lot to learn. Here on the pitch in front of 70,000 to 80,000 spectators, you can't do much, you have to be there and have good body language when your teammates make mistakes. or not see you. This is also something that we have to learn as a team.
"It's like we had a plan, then we were 2-0 down, then we didn't follow our plan, we pressured one man and it wasn't enough, but the season isn't over yet. There's a lot of points to play, we'll see what happens at the end of the season."
Dortmund were a bit slow with the defeat as Thomas Tuchel led the new team by two points in his first game in charge after replacing Julian Nagelsmann.
