At the Jubilee House in Accra on Tuesday, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo swore in three ministers, two ministers of state, and a deputy minister, saying that even though they were joining the government 19 months before its term was set to expire, there was still time for them to make a difference and significant contributions.
He claimed it was clearly made feasible by their range of abilities, knowledge, and skills.
The ministers are Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs; Bryan Acheampong, Minister of Food and Agriculture; and Kobina Tahir Hammond, Minister of Trade and Industry.
Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, and the Minister of State in the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization, round out the group.
The President administered the oaths of office, secrecy, and allegiance, and he also gave each of them a scroll of office.

Indicating that they had been carefully picked for their portfolios based on their educational and professional backgrounds, life experiences, and characteristics, he added that the success of their work will be apparent in the effort they put out.
Their appointment, according to President Akufo-Addo, is a chance for them to serve their country in a more important role. He advised them to take advantage of this opportunity with humility and grit, and to perform while always remaining under the direction of the Almighty God.
