In honour of Muslims' ongoing Ramadan fast, the Prophets and Spiritual Council of Ghana sent Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu last Monday a variety of food items.
The products included 10 bags of sugar, 10 milk cartons, 10 tin tomato cartons, 10 Milo cartons, and 30 bags of rice. There were also 10 bags of sugar and 10 litres of cooking oil.
Intervention
The Spiritual Head of the Council, Nakoa Prophet Nazareth Ansah Jamson, introduced the items and said that it was at this time that Muslims throughout the nation joined together to fast, pray, and seek God's intervention for both their own lives and the welfare of the nation as a whole.
He claimed that it was through such an activity that he realised how important it was to continue to help the Chief Imam, as he had done over the years, because the Imam likewise provided to others who came to him during the Ramadan.
He prayed for God's blessings on the Imam and stated that the assistance was meant to uplift and support Muslims as a whole as they engaged in spiritual practise.
In addition to being the founder of the Israel King of the Jews Church, Nakoa Jamson made advantage of the occasion to encourage Ghanaians to make an effort to have a fear of God in them and act in a way that is right in his eyes.
We have a tiny cup of water here so that you might drink to God's glory when you break your fast and keep praying till the fasting day is through.
"Thus, we pray that God would grant you success in life. He declared that God is both almighty and a God who answers prayers.
Sheikh Sharubutu replied, thanking Nakoa Jamson for his constant assistance and asking God to bless him.
He prayed for God's protection over him, the council members, and themselves.
"God ought to shield church members and leaders as well.
We will continue to pray for the entire nation as we fast, he stated.
