Don't get it twisted this is just the tip of the iceberg here lies the true reason why he was accused and arrested.

So, there is no way they are going to push for a peace deal now, and trump is dissatisfied about the stand of the current Joe Biden administration. He knows he is being witch hunted because in one of his addresses he said "if i renounce my believe and if i decide to stay silent or if i stayed in my basement, the persecution of Donald trump would stop immediately that's what they want me to do and i wouldn't do that because i love our country and i love the people of our country so much. i am not doing this for me because i had a very good and luxurious life." So he understands what he is facing. This move of the Joe Biden administration for accusing the former president is also being done so as to dent the reputation of Trump. Either ways whether being proven guilty or not it would not stop him from running as a presidential candidate. This is because under the US laws one has to be a citizen of the country for at least 14 years and can run as president. This has happened before, and this happened in the year 1920 when Debs run for president while imprisoned in the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary. Even though he didn't win the elections nothing stopped him from standing as a presidential candidate.
