PROPHET NIGEL GAISIE SUES NANA ROMEO

Prophet Nigel Gaisie, a prominent Ghanaian religious leader, has taken legal action against Abdul Karim, also known as Nana Romeo, for making false sexual allegations against him. The suit was filed at the High Court of Justice in Amasaman, and the defendant is required to respond within eight days of being served with the writ.

On April 5, 2023, Prophet Nigel Gaisie shared the news on his Facebook page, warning anyone who makes false accusations against him that they will be held accountable. He stated that he is tired of the lies and falsehoods being spread about his ministry and his character, and that he will not tolerate any further abuse.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie added that he is confident that the prophetic and prophets in Ghana will not be brought down by such unfounded accusations. He pledged to take action against anyone who tries to damage his reputation or the reputation of his ministry.

The lawsuit also includes an individual named Stancy Amoateng, whose connection to the sexual allegations is unclear.

Nana Romeo, the Accra FM show host, had accused Prophet Nigel Gaisie of having an affair with his girlfriend, despite knowing that they were dating. He claimed that he had regarded the religious leader as a mentor and friend, but that he had been betrayed.

Nana Romeo explained that he had become close to Prophet Nigel Gaisie after interviewing him about the death of musician Ebony Reigns, and had even booked musicians to perform at his church. However, he became suspicious when the religious leader started texting his girlfriend and going out on lunch dates with her.

Nana Romeo was hurt by the betrayal and decided to speak out about it. He shared a snippet of his interview on Instagram, explaining why he had to break his silence over the matter.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie's legal action is a clear message to those who spread false information that they will be held accountable for their actions. It is also a reminder that religious leaders should be held to high standards of integrity and honesty, and that any allegations made against them should be thoroughly investigated before being taken seriously.
