Nigerian man questions the Nigerian judicial system over their failure to arrest corrupt ex- presidents and politicians. A few days ago, the ex-president of the United State Of America Donald J. TRUMP was arrested on live television and faced criminal charges leveled against him. He however proved not guilty to the charges and was set free and he went ahead to organize a press conference to address the whole issue.
His arrest came as a shock to many and has generated a whole lot of conversations online as many believe that, former politicians still have power over the judicial system. However, the United States has proved and set an example to the world that, no one is above the law. A Nigerian Twitter user identified by his handle @pereEgbi seized this opportunity to question the judicial system of Nigeria and asked for corrupt politicians to be arrested and face the law if innocent they should be freed, but if found guilty they should be punished.
Read his tweet below;
“Trump getting arrested!!! On live TV!!! Facing
criminal charges! I mean America is not a
perfect country but the justice system
sometimes makes me smile. That's a former
American president o. Nigerian judicial
system, how far na? I know we have some
corrupt ex-president!”.
His post generated a whole lot of comments and a few are highlighted below;

“Respectfully, this comparison is wrong. What Trump
is going through is political persecution and should
only happen in Nigeria and other third-world
countries. Trump is the front-runner for the
Republican ticket for 2024 and was just indicted by
the opposition party. The prosecutor who indicted
him ran and won his election on 'getting Trump'.
America has lost the moral high ground and should
never preach democracy to Nigeria and Africa or even
the world. They should never release videos before
our elections telling us how to conduct ourselves
If Trump should be arrested for election finance
violations, then Clinton and Obama should be
arrested as well. Bush should even be indicted by the
International Criminal Court for the death of 1 million
Iraqis just like Putin just indicted
The hypocrisy of the Left in America is simply
stunning”.
