The university support group of Asante Kotoko in the various universities of Ghana have reacted to the various sorts of politics in Asante Kotoko after they were draged into it in the match Asante Kotoko played against King Faisal babies football club on Wednesday
MATCH REPORT: Benab 2-1 Kumasi City
Benab FC battled out a 2-1 win over Kumasi City to claim our 10th straight win in the Ashanti Regional Division Two League.
A goal in either half from Prince Balladom and Umar takes us closer to the middle League qualification.
It was a dream start to the game as Prince Balladom gave us the lead with just three minutes after kick off.
The young attacker tucked home a rebound to put us ahead.
Kumasi City cancelled our lead a few minutes later following a loose marking the penalty box.
After the break, Coach Abu Adams made triple substitutions as we went in search of the winner.
Chances were hard to come by in the second 45 minutes as the game turned physical battles between the two sides.
After a few minutes of huffing and puffing, the door was finally opened as Umar headed home a nice free kick from Abdul Rashid.
The wins takes our impressive winning run to 10 straight matches.

~Blame the FA president and the Executive council of the Ghana football Association for the constant clashes between Northern clubs and the Bono clubs.~
The FA President and Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association have to be blamed for the perennial bad blood between the teams from the Northern Regions and the Bono Regions.
There have been constant tension and violence between these Regions right at the lower tier of our football.
The unhealthy rivalry is at its peak at the Division one which has recorded several brutalities between teams from the North and the Bono Regions in the past few seasons but the governing body have failed to solve it.
The seemingly uncontrollable and unsolvable situation made the Executive council of the Association to split Zone One of the National Division One League into two zones.( A and B) ZONE ONE CONSIST OF MAINLY BONO AND NORTHERN TEAMS.
The decision means the sixteen competing clubs would be split into two Zones of eight clubs each after which the two top teams will engage in a playoff to determine the winner of the Zone and the club that qualifies for the Premier.
Other zones, to wit; zone 2 and zone 3 are not like that. The winners of these Zones (2 and 3) automatically qualifies to premier league without any playoffs as compared to Zone 1.
The split in Zone one ensured that Zone A is dominated by teams from the North while Zone B is dominated by Bono teams. The reason for the split between the Bono teams and the Northern teams was to avoid the two Regions from meeting each other in the Division one League as a way of solving the long standing tension and violence between the two Regions with regards to football at that level.
But, this is a knee -jerk approach in solving the problem as the tension may forever exist whether they play among themselves or not and I'm not surprised it has now graduated to the top flight football where premier league clubs from Bono Regions and Northern Regions are engaged in violence. Specifically Aduana FC and Tamale City.
The blame has to be put right on the door step of the FA President and the EXCO members for the lazy approach in dealing with the matter right from Division one.
Violence and hooliganism cannot be limited by space, time or by segregation but by matured dialogue and fairness to both parties.
The FA and the EXCO members have to go back to the drawing board and plan out how to solve this violence between the BONO AND NORTHERN TEAMS right from Division one to premier before we record a national calamity.
