Man Utd star Diogo Dalot admits he was 'not happy' with Man Utd initiation choice in hilarious interview
Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has admitted that he is "not happy" with a key decision made during his time at the club - his launch song.
When a player signs with a new club, they traditionally participate in some kind of introduction before the rest of the team - often involving them picking their favorite song ( or a song they know the lyrics to).
Dalot was no exception, his singing skills put to the test when he joined United from Porto in the summer of 2018.
Compatriot and manager Jose Mourinho has described the youngster as "the best full-back in Europe for his age", and despite his ups and downs during his time at Old Trafford, Dalot is now was kicked regularly under Erik 10. The old witch.
One experience he doesn't remember very well, however, is his beginnings, and especially his own choice of songs. Dalot admits Man Utd regrets
Speaking on the Official Manchester United Podcast, Dalot revealed that he chose Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' to perform for the team - because he knew the lyrics.
But when praised by one of the podcast's co-hosts for the decision, the Portuguese star replied that it was not a good decision at all.
He explained:
"No, it wasn't [good]. Honestly, I look back and I'm not very happy. I could have picked a better song. It's 'Shape of You' just because I know the lyrics.
"Actually there's a funny story. We went out to eat and went bowling. I lost so the loser had to sing. [I think], I can't choose a song now that I'll regret in a year. So let me pick a good song.
"I chose 'Freed from Desire'. The first time I signed that music was the best choice."

According to talkSPORT, Frank Lampard's return to Chelsea will not create a chance for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to return to defence.
The report adds:
“Frank Lampard's return to Chelsea is unlikely to bring forgotten man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a trip home.
“Aubameyang has not played for Chelsea since playing the last seven minutes of the 0-2 loss to Tottenham on February 26.
“The Gabon international was also a shock absence from the Les Bleus squad in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
"Aubameyang's side insists that the former Arsenal player caused no problems behind the scenes and it is suspected that his expulsion is due to him being seen as Thomas Tuchel's man. "Tuchel managed Aubameyang at Borussia Dortmund but was sacked one game after signing him for Chelsea."
