Pep Guardiola responded brilliantly when asked why he has never been sacked during his coaching career.
Guardiola answered questions from the press before Manchester City resume their Premier League campaign at Southampton on Saturday.
He faces compatriot and relative newcomer Ruben Selles, who replaced Nathan Jones after he was sacked earlier this year.
The sacked Jones is one of 13 coaches who have lost their jobs in the English top flight this season, with Antonio Conte, Graham Potter and Brendan Rodgers recently dismissed.
And before City marched to St Mary's, Guardiola was asked why he was never sacked as manager. "I'll tell you a secret, we win the games," he revealed. "If we don't win the game, I'll be fired."
The Spaniard added:
"It's not because my hair is better than everyone else's. I'm not fired because we won a lot of games."
Guardiola went on to suggest that the huge investment in clubs could be a factor behind the series of ruthless sackings.
“In this country, when I was young, there was always a tradition of keeping managers around,” he said.
"What's happening today with a lot of pressure on people, a lot of investment, in a way I understand there's a lot of pressure. "Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. That's it, you have to adapt."
The 52-year-old has enjoyed much success in his managerial career, leading Barcelona, ??Bayern Munich and, of course, Man City with a series of titles.
And he will be looking to add a FIVE Premier League title to his title this campaign as the Blues look to chase leaders Arsenal.
They are eight points behind the Gunners but have a game in hand and face Mikel Arteta's men this month.

Pep Guardiola has hinted Manchester City could trigger a buy-back clause for Romeo Lavia following the young Belgian's impressive Premier League debut season with Southampton. The 19-year-old talent moved to St Mary's last summer for £10.5m in a deal that could still rise to £14m with additional terms.
Lavia is highly regarded by City but Guardiola admits he simply cannot give the player the game time he wants to continue to develop.
And now that Southampton are bottom of the Premier League table, Guardiola has indicated that the champions can look to take advantage of the buy-back option they have included in the deal. "I'm really impressed with what Romeo [Lavia] has done [at Southampton] and what he's doing. We appreciate him very much," Guardiola said ahead of Southampton's trip.
"We thought about keeping him, but we don't feel we can't give him as much play as we did against Southampton."
Incredibly, Chelsea made a £50m offer to sign Lavia on the last day of last summer's transfer window just weeks after completing a move to the south coast.
However, Southampton have rejected this approach and Lavia has become a fixture in their squad this season under Ralph Hasenhuttl, Nathan Jones and Ruben Selles.
