ERIKSEN'S RETURN TO THE MANCHESTER UNITED TEAM IS A SIGNIFICANT WIN FOR TEN HAG

Christian Eriksen is healthy enough to play against Everton on Saturday, contrary to what Manchester United had believed he would miss until May.

After being absent for more than two months, Christian Eriksen will rejoin Manchester United's matchday lineup for their match against Everton on Saturday.

After becoming the target of an unsportsmanlike challenge by Andy Carroll on January 28, the Danish international sustained an ankle injury during an FA Cup victory over Reading.

When it became clear that Eriksen could miss up to three months due to Carroll's tackle, manager Erik ten Hag did not hold back in expressing his disgust.

Given how rapidly the Dane had established himself as a crucial player at Old Trafford, that was a huge letdown for United.

But, Eriksen's recovery has gone smoothly, and he could still participate against Everton on Saturday, cutting his absence from the team to little over two months as opposed to the anticipated May absence.

Luke Shaw's loss following his early substitution against Brentford on Wednesday dampened the joy of Eriksen's return, but the midfielder was the main topic of discussion in Ten Hag's pre-game press conference.

When asked for an update on the team's fitness, Ten Hag responded, "Luke Shaw is unavailable for [Everton], and we have to see how it develops in the upcoming week.

The good news is that Christian Eriksen is back in the gym and will rejoin the team tomorrow.

United's record during the previous two months has been inconsistent, despite the fact that they have since won the EFL Cup, advanced to the quarterfinals of the Europa League, and are still actively pursuing a top-four berth.

With Eriksen, United has a season win percentage of 63.2% compared to 44.44% without him.

Regarding United's recent inconsistency, other factors have entered the picture. Casemiro has also missed a lot of football due to multiple suspensions.
