Juventus are interested in Alexis Mac Allister but signing the World Cup winner is very difficult.
Several clubs want to include him in their workforce at the end of the season following his good performance at the World Cup in Qatar.
He was one of Argentina's key players as they headed for the winner's medal.
Since then, a number of clubs have expressed interest in signing him and it is surprising he did not leave Brighton in January.
However, the Premier League club will struggle to keep him in their squad after this season. Juve are rebuilding their squad and are still very interested in a transfer for him.
But Tuttojuve revealed English clubs are also in dispute, which would likely derail Juve's plans.
The midfielder may prefer to stay in the Premier League, where he already enjoys life and where top teams will likely pay more than he will get at Juve.
Juve Football Club says
Mac Allister is a top player, but we'll have a hard time adding him to our team later this term.
Brighton are notorious for demanding huge fees every time one of their players leaves. We currently have financial issues that must be resolved before we consider making new contracts.
