Runaway leaders Burnley have sealed their promotion back into the top flight after a 2-1 win over Middlesbrough who are also in contention to make a return to the Premier league .

With seven matches to the end of the season , Burnley have been handed an early promotion to the top flight after today’s win over Micheal Carricks Boro.
