Following Liverpool's lackluster draw with Chelsea in the middle of the week, Jürgen Klopp accused a reporter of asking a question that was a "waste of time."

The last week has been a perfect summary of everything that's been wrong with Klopp and his Liverpool team this season, which hasn't exactly been terrific.

Last weekend, after taking the lead against Manchester City, they were completely destroyed as Pep Guardiola's team ran roughshod over them.

The following week, the team saw six changes as they played Chelsea to a very dreary 0-0 tie that the Blues should have won.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson, Mohamed Salah, and Cody Gakpo were all moved to the bench while Vigil VanDijk was out due to injury.

He was questioned about if the adjustments were a result of the defeat to City or simply the increased workload during his pre-match press conference before playing Arsenal on Sunday.

"Our match against City had an impact on us physically and performance-wise. Both apply "The German returned fire.

How on earth do you want me to respond by saying, "Two were due to that, and four were due to that," That is a huge time waster.

When asked if he still held to his earlier assertions that his team's season would be determined by the upcoming week, including the Arsenal game, the former Borussia Dortmund manager didn't seem too happy.

"We will have earned four points from these games if we win this game. In the past, this would have been absolutely usual for us," he said.We drew there (Stamford Bridge) the most of the time. I spent the previous season at home with COVID. We had a great start, but the game ended in a draw. Additionally, Man City might always lose.

I recognize that it must be quite challenging for you to come up with new questions each week, but I assure you that it is even more challenging to come up with new solutions.

It's not the first time Klopp has been evasive with the media, especially when things on the field haven't gone as planned for his squad.

Due to the things one journalist had written about the 55-year-old Reds manager's team after the team's defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in February, the manager declined to respond.
