A woman with a TikTok handle @nana-Adufa stunned many Ghanaians when he posted a video defending the act of her son who is Gay.
She explained how she wanted a male child from the beginning of her pregnancy. When she finally gave birth the midwife told her the baby was a girl even without looking at the baby's Genitals. This was because the baby's appearance was just that of a girl.
Everyone in her neighbourhood including her husband said the baby looked and behaved like a girl. Only the genitals of the baby can help to identify him as a boy.
Eventually, the son grew up and started liking men. She further explained that she is the only person who understood the behaviour of her son, indicating that it is not her son's choice to be gay but God created him that way. She continued to add that she can not despise a child she suffered nine months to bring to this world just because he is gay. She urged Ghanaians to stop calling her son names otherwise she will come for them.
"Many of his types have committed suicide because the condemnation is too much to bear " LGBTQ people should be shown, love not hatred because they are also humans, she said. She cited that in the Bible Jesus said everyone who accepts God will see eternal life but did not say only straight people will go to heaven
