2. Cristiano Ronaldo - The Portuguese striker is the second highest goalscorer of all time in La Liga. He played 292 La Liga matches for Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018, in which he scored 311 goals.



3. Telmo Zarra - The Spanish striker made 295 La Liga appearances for Athletic Bilbao between 1940 and 1955, scoring 251 goals.


4. Hugo Sanchez - Retired Mexican striker made 347 La Liga appearances for Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Rayo Vallecano, in which he scored 234 goals.



5. Karim Benzema - The French striker has made 433 La Liga appearances since 2009, scoring 233 goals. He has scored 14 goals for Real Madrid in the 2022/2023 La Liga season.

Villarreal player Alejandro Baena has condemned the 'aggression' amid Spanish media claims the midfielder was hit by Real Madrid player Federico Valverde following Villarreal's 3-2 win on Saturday.


Baena said on his Twitter account that he was "very happy for my team's incredible win at a stadium like the Santiago Bernabeu, but also very sad for the aggression I suffered after the game. fight".


Spanish radio station Cadena Ser and other media outlets reported on Saturday night that Valverde allegedly punched Baena as the Villarreal player was about to board the team bus.


Reports say that Valverde is said to have been angry with Baena for his alleged insults during the match, including a comment about his son. In her Twitter post, Baena denied insulting Valverde's son:

"I'm surprised at what people say about me. It's wrong to say that."


Neither club has commented publicly on the alleged incident.
