Enzo Fernandez is certain that Chelsea's situation will soon improve despite the fact that they have struggled since his signing.
Enzo Fernandez, who wants to win "everything and everything" in England, is optimistic that Chelsea "will get better with time."
The most costly of several January additions by the Blues was Argentina's World Cup champion Fernandez, who cost Benfica a Premier League record £106 million (€121 million).
Graham Potter is the second coach to be fired from Stamford Bridge this year as a result of Chelsea's struggles since that time, which have seen them drop to 11th in the Premier League.
When it comes to potentially returning to that competition for the next season, Potter at least got Chelsea to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
In order to advance to the round of eight, Fernandez and company must defeat Real Madrid, who are led temporarily by former Chelsea captain Frank Lampard.
It seems difficult to surpass the defending champions Madrid, but Fernandez is certain that his new team will quickly get back on track.
He admitted to UEFA.com that getting used to new players typically takes time.
"One of the ten brand-new players was myself. It's challenging to communicate with teammates at first due to language barriers.
"We start getting to know our team members better over time, so things will improve.
Have I gotten along with Joao Felix and Kai Havertz? We do have this bond, even off the field, but we also have a lot of talented athletes.
"All of our attackers are classy and talented, so they can all compete at the highest level."
Fernandez clearly has no regrets about making his major move to leave Benfica just seven months after joining from River Plate, despite Chelsea's struggles this year.
He cited "one of the factors" as his liking for the club's long-term project.
"Chelsea had already expressed interest in me prior to the World Cup, and I had always wanted to play in the Premier League.
"I joined a sizable team that has consistently competed for championships and has won two Champions Leagues in a short period of time. I've come to realize how large this club actually is now that I'm here.
