MAN UTD 'PLANNING TO AXE THIRTEEN PLAYERS THIS SUMMER' AS ERIK TEN HAG PLOTS MAJOR SQUAD OVERHAUL

According to a new report, Manchester United plan to let up to 13 players leave this summer.



United's 2-0 win over Everton at the weekend put them back on track for next season's Champions League. Erik ten Hag's men are fourth in the Premier League, three points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur by one game less.


The Old Trafford club are having a successful season as they won the Carabao Cup in February and are in the final stages of the FA Cup and Europa League.


As United continue to battle on multiple fronts, they appear to have their eyes on the summer transfer window. Expected signings with the club are linked with big moves for Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen.



Fabrizio Romano also claims that United have met with representatives of Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong.


However, while United could get a cash payout if new owners arrive, the club is said to be preparing a number of exits to comply with FFP guidelines.


Man Utd sack 13 players

A report from Mail Online has claimed that United are considering a move to 13 players this summer.


The publication alleges that winger Anthony Elanga has more than 12 clubs interested in signing him, with many of the 20-year-old's teammates likely to follow him out the door. Eric Bailly could leave United permanently this summer after disappointing in Marseille this season.


The French side have the option of making a permanent transfer for £5m after he has made 19 league appearances, but they are said to be uninterested in signing the Portuguese long-term. Ivory Sea.


Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek, Brandon Williams and Anthony Martial have all been contacted this season.


Facundo Pellistri could be loaned out to gain more experience as he is tied to a new contract.


Meanwhile, a Mail Online report adds that Amad Diallo is likely to have a chance to make it to the first team after impressing on loan at Sunderland.
