£160k-a-week star 'blame' for shocking Anfield incident
Journalist Dean Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson played a key role in the controversy with Arsenal, where a line-in referee was accused of elbowing.
The 29-year-old was involved in a scuffle with a referee during their 2-2 draw with Premier League leaders Arsenal.
The assistant referee, Constantine Hatzidakis, was accused of elbowing Robertson during the first half at Anfield.

The Scotland defender was shown a yellow card for his part in the incident, and the referee can now be punished for what happened to Robertson.
Hatzidakis has now been dismissed while PGMOL conducts an investigation, according to Sky News. The report also contains a statement from PGMOL that reads:
"PGMOL will not include Constantine Hatzidakis on the schedule in any league he serves while the FA (Football Association) investigates the incident involving assistant referee and Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson. at Anfield."
What did Jones say about the incident?
Jones believes that Robertson is partly responsible for the incident and that he does not expect Hatzidakais to be punished.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said:
"I don't think Robertson should get his hands on the lineman, I think that's where it comes from in the end. If you look at it from a certain angle, it looks like the lineman elbowed him, but it seemed to me Robertson took the official by the arm, and the official pushed him away, resulting in him hitting him in the face with his elbow. "There's a clear message being sent home right now that you can't get your hands on officials, so that could be when the officer is just upset that he was hit by Robertson, which he's not allowed."
"That's why there was such a big move to get him out of there. I really doubt any official would go out on the pitch with the intention of elbowing a player. It would draw attention. because we've never seen anything like it before. I'd be surprised if he gets punished for that."
Should the referee be sanctioned? It was a difficult situation. Robertson, who earns £160,000 a week at Liverpool, is a hot-tempered man, always letting his emotions overwhelm him when approaching the lineman.
It looks like the officials were trying to knock out players who got too close to them, but the line umpire probably shouldn't have reacted the way he did.
