Arsenal's clash with Chelsea at the Emirates has been postponed until May 2.

Arsenal's Premier League match against Chelsea at the Emirates has been moved from Saturday 29 April to Tuesday 2 May.

The Premier League decided to postpone the match after the Metropolitan Police revised their position on the start time. They requested a meeting of the Security Advisory Group (SAG) to determine if the match should be postponed.

A statement on the official Premier League website reads:

"The Premier League match between Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC at Emirates Stadium, scheduled for Saturday April 29 at 5:30pm, will now take place on Tuesday, May 2 at 8pm. :00 pm."

The original date was adopted at the previous SAG meeting in February, but for security reasons it will now take place on May 2. The Premier League has apologized for notifying its supporters late of the change to the fixture.

Arsenal will continue their journey to conquer the Premier League title. The Gunners are currently six points ahead of second-placed Manchester City by playing more than one game. However, the encounter with Chelsea comes just six days after Mikel Arteta's men face Man City at the Etihad on April 26.

Meanwhile, the Blues will most likely try to end the season on high form as they have just had a miserable season. Frank Lampard's army ranked 11th, 17 points behind the top 4. There is little or no chance for Chelsea to finish in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

West Ham United want to sign Conor Gallagher from Chelsea to replace Arsenal target Declan Rice

Declan Rice is on Arsenal's radar.

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher as a replacement for Declan Rice. The latter is closely linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.

The Hammers are expected to demand £100m for Rice, who has been their protagonist for several years. The English midfielder has appeared in 37 games in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists. David Moyes' side have two goals in mind if they want to collect those fees for their captain.

Gallagher and Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips have both been noticed by West Ham. Both have struggled to win game time this season.

The former player returned to Stamford Bridge last summer after an impressive loan spell with Crystal Palace. However, Gallagher has only started 13 of 35 games, scoring once and assisting once.

Meanwhile, Phillips joined City from Leeds United last summer for £42m but failed to make an impact at the Etihad. He only made 14 appearances and struggled to get into form with Cityzens.
