Evan Ferguson has performed well and really exploded this season in the Premier League and established himself as one of the most promising players in the entire league. It comes with his sacrifice for a club like Brighton.

The bad thing about producing a talent like Ferguson at a club like Brighton is that they will very rarely keep players. It seeks to prove the same to Ferguson, who is wanted by many Premier League clubs.

Brighton want to tie him to a new contract before any club attempt to sign him this summer. According to Mail Sport's Simon Jones, Brighton want to tie Evan Ferguson to a new deal before the summer transfer window to prevent any interest from other Premier League clubs.

Chelsea are among the interested clubs along with Manchester United and Tottenham, but Brighton are adamant they don't want to lose the 18-year-old Irishman.

Ferguson has the second-highest goals-per-game ratio in the entire Premier League, behind only Erling Haaland, so it's no surprise that clubs are chasing his signature.

The Irishman currently has a new contract until June 2026 but it is likely Brighton will want a raise for him and possibly insert a release clause to keep Ferguson at the club for another season or two.

Manchester United's interest is justified, Chelsea and Tottenham admire him, but Brighton are unwilling to listen to any clubs involved in the player. Learn more about Room Transfer Insurance:
