The deal is done:

Leicester confirm Dean Smith as new boss

Leicester City have confirmed the appointment of Dean Smith as club manager until the end of the current campaign, with John Terry taking on the role on the team behind the scenes. The Foxes - who are currently 19th in the Premier League table - parted company with Brendan Rodgers last month and were initially hoping to appoint former Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch.

Rabjohn agrees to join Man Utd

Manchester United have won the race to sign highly regarded England Under-19 defender Evie Rabjohn from Aston Villa. Sportsmail have revealed United officially approached the 17-year-old last week and the youngster has opted to move to the Reds.

Osimhen is said to be joining Bayern this summer

According to Sky Germany, Manchester United target Victor Osimhen is likely to join Bayern Munich this summer, as the Bundesliga champions consider a move for the Napoli forward.

Bayern are hesitant about a proposed price for the 24-year-old, while Napoli are asking around £100m for Osimhen. Sky Germany Florian Pettenburg reports that the Bayern hierarchy greatly admires Osimhen, but any pursuit will depend on the costs and mindset of head coach Thomas Tuchel.

The latest transfer rumors at Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag watches the summer transfer window.

According to reports, Manchester United have been in active initial talks with Axel Disasi over a proposed move in the summer, as Erik ten Hag continues to map out future transfer plans.

A year after being appointed at Old Trafford, Ten Hag wants at least two major signings when the market reopens. England captain Harry Kane is the number one target in the search for a new striker - while United also have a dynamic central midfielder on their shopping list.

Other additions could depend on who leaves the club with United ready to sell Harry Maguire, Alex Telles, Brandon Williams and Anthony Martial to generate cash. However, if Maguire or Victor Lindelof continues, Ten Hag should continue to defend with Disasi, who will be in the spotlight.

Disasi, 25, plays for AS Monaco and has three caps for France. Reports from Give Me Sport highlight that United continue to be interested in the centre-back, and the same report says they are finally ready to call him after tentative negotiations. Potential charges of around £44m have been put forward. Disasi has a contract until 2025.

Elsewhere, reports from Italian publication Tutto Juve suggest United are willing to rekindle interest in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot and the Frenchman after missing out on the player last summer. Rabiot is open to a move to Old Trafford amid pursuits of Frenkie de Jong and Casemiro.

Of course, it wasn't until De Jong and Rabiot proved unattainable that attention turned to Casemiro and he made his first £60m change. But with Rabiot set to become a free agent this summer, there could be a hunt to sign his United in the market for another midfielder.

Tutto Juve claim Ten Hag is ready to 'attack' to sign Rabiot.
