The wife of Nigerian comedian AY joins in the ongoing feud between legendary comedian Basketmouth and AY comedian. During the weekend, Basketmouth was invited to the podcast of comedian Nedu, and in the course of the interview, he was asked if he was friends with AY, Basketmouth’s reply revealed that to set the record straight, he and AY have never been friends and would never be, but didn’t go into details what ensued.
AY in an interview about two years ago revealed what brought the feud between himself and Basketmouth. AY revealed that their whole feud was a result of 30k Naira. AY further added that, while he was still up and coming, Basketmouth was the one in the limelight and so he used to put him on gigs and pays him 30k Naira. 30k N at the time meant a lot was him according to AY. He was asked to perform at a wedding reception which was meant for Basketmouth AY revealed. After the occasion he was told to go home and that he was going to receive his payment later not knowing Basketmouth had already taken payment for the occasion and didn’t want to pay him. He added.
The issue which was years ago began making waves again over the weekend after Basketmouth went on Nedu’s podcast. The wife of AY, who seem to know about the genesis of the whole issue took to her official Instagram handle and threw a couple of shades which according to online users it is directed to Basketmouth.
