Reports say Liverpool are set to make a move to buy Bayern Munich's struggling Ryan Gravenberch, as Jurgen Klopp's side prepare to rebuild midfield amid reports the club has given up race for Jude Bellingham.
Gravenberch, 20, completed a £16.3m (£18.5m) move from boyhood Ajax to Bavaria last year after impressing in the Eredivisie.
The midfielder became the youngest Ajax player to make his debut in 2018, 16 years and 130 days and scored his first Champions League goal in November 2020.
But Gravenberch struggled to make it into the Munich squad, first under Julian Nagelsmann, and now under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
The player arrived at the Etihad as an unused substitute in the team's heavy defeat to Man City in the Champions League, and has only appeared in four games this season in all competitions. Ryan Gravenberch has struggled for time since joining Bayern Munich last summer

According to Foot Mercato, Gravenberch was annoyed with the situation and questioned his future in the Bundesliga.
Speaking earlier in the season, while playing under sacked coach Nagelsmann, Gravenberch expressed his displeasure in an interview with ESPN.
"Honestly, yes, I'm [disappointed]," the player said.
"You want to play, but the manager chooses other players. I have to accept, but it's difficult. I was hoping for a few more minutes, but I had to calm my mind.
"Maybe the coach will give me a few more minutes after the international break."

Tuchel has yet to fulfill Gravenberch's wishes, and as the season draws to a close, Gravenberch could still be tempted elsewhere.
The Netherlands international has attracted interest from Arsenal and Manchester United, but the Red Devils are expected to prioritize their pursuit of Gravenberch - if they are more interested in the player - due to concerns about his midfield. Surname.
Klopp has frankly expressed his desire to acquire Jude Bellingham's talent from Borussia Dortmund, but the Merseyside club have been forced to abandon their intention amid the huge transfer fee for the English star.
The club's hierarchy will instead shift their intentions to rebuilding the wider squad, with Chelsea's Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher, Inter Milan's Nicolo Barella and Wolves' Matheus Nunes among their top target for the next transfer window.
