Frank Lampard continues to await his first win since returning to the Chelsea pitch as the Blues prepare to take on Brighton on Saturday.
Defeat at Wolves followed Chelsea's 2-0 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League in midweek and saw them climb a mountain in the second leg of their quarter-final tie at Stamford Bridge next week. Firstly, despite playing a Premier League home match against Brighton, the Chelsea club is seven points behind despite playing two more games. The Blues have now gone five games without a win in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Brighton have continued to impress under Roberto De Zerbi, the man appointed following Graham Potter's departure to Chelsea. The Seagulls come into seventh table this weekend and remain strong in contention for a European spot. Date, start time and location
Chelsea v Brighton is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 BST on Saturday 15 April 2023.
The host is Stamford Bridge in London.

Kalidou Koulibaly was injured in Madrid and will miss Brighton. Ben Chilwell was sent off in play but the ban does not apply at national level and he is available.
Lampard could decide to switch teams, missing out on the Premier League season and potentially saving the likes of N'Golo Kante and Thiago Silva for the second leg against Real. Brighton will be without Levi Colville, unable to play against their parent club, meaning Adam Webster could partner Lewis Dunk.
Adam Lallana and Jeremy Sarmiento are out, while Tariq Lamptey is also out with a knee injury. Chelsea vs Brighton prediction
It's so hard to trust Chelsea in the best of times that it looks like dropping even more points by focusing on possibly visiting Real Madrid next week.
