Atletico Madrid are the best performing team in the top 5 European leagues in the last 10 matches. The Spanish team has had 8 wins in the last 10 matches in La Liga and has 26 points. There are other teams that have scored 8 wins in the last 10 matches but they have accumulated fewer points than Atletico Madrid. These teams include Borussia Dortmund (25 points), Barcelona (25 points) and Napoli (24 points).

However, the Premier League leaders drew at Anfield in their last meeting in the Premier League, having 7 wins and 23 points in the last 10 Premier League matches. Manchester City and Bayern Munich both have 7 wins in the last 10 matches in the league, but they have fewer points than Arsenal. The Sky Blues are now title contenders and could close the gap on the Premier League table if they win their standout match.

Other clubs featured in the top ten in the last ten in Europe's top five leagues this season include Reims, Mainz and Juventus. Most of the teams on this list are currently vying for a place in next season's European Cup and likely all will play in Europe for the 2023/24 season.

With only 10 days remaining in the LaLiga Santander 2022/23 campaign, the season is really over. This is the time of year where every point counts even more and when teams work hard to achieve their goals.

As such, there are some hugely important matches on Match Day 29, starting with Rayo Vallecano against CA Osasuna on Friday. The visitors are just one point ahead of Vallecas and both sides still have a chance to qualify for the European qualifiers away, so it will be a close contest between these two well-formed sides, like what happened earlier in the season when Rubén García's injury-time goal gave Osasuna a 2-1 win.

On Saturday there are four more matches and the first will be at Villarreal CF's Estadio de la Cerámica, where Real Valladolid is a guest. El Submarino Amarillo is in great form at the moment, after an impressive win at the Bernabéu, and they are close to the bottom of the Champions League, so they will want a fourth win in a row.

The second Basque Derby of the season follows, at 16:

15 CEST, when Sports Club takes on Real Sociedad in Bilbao. It's always an important match, but Saturday's game is even more meaningful than usual as these two teams battle to qualify for next season's European football. Real Sociedad is trying to hold onto fourth place, while Sporting Club wants to take the last place in Europe and avenge the 1-3 defeat in San Sebastián in January.

Then, for the second week in a row, Real Betis host a relegation-threatened team, this time RCD Espanyol. Los Verdiblancos will be hoping this weekend's game at Estadio Benito Villamarín will go better than the one the day before when they were nine men behind and lost to Cádiz CF. For Borja Iglesias, it was a meeting with his former club and he hopes to be on the scoresheet.

Real Madrid vs Cadiz in Andalusia

LaLiga Santander matches still go on in Andalucia on Saturday night, as Cadiz CF host Real Madrid looking to build on their impressive win over Real Betis from last weekend. It will not be an easy match for the defending champions as Cádiz CF has had a good head-to-head record against Los Blancos since returning to La Liga Santander in 2020, winning one, drawing two and losing two. in the five games since.

On Sunday, four more matches are scheduled, starting with Girona FC against Elche CF. The Catalan team has just had an impressive point against FC Barcelona and still has a chance outside of qualifying for the first time in the European Cup. Therefore, coach Mítel will ask for three points when the lowest ranked team arrives in town.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona will be looking to bounce back from that draw when they visit Getafe CF on Sunday afternoon. However, the Blaugrana hasn't won at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez since 2019, so Xavi Hernández knows it won't be an easy task against a well-organized Geta.

Across the Spanish capital, Atlético de Madrid will face UD Almería in the next match and Diego Simeone's men will aim for a sixth consecutive victory. Given that the Andalusians have only won four points all season, Antoine Griezmann and co. will certainly do so.

Valencia CF vs Sevilla FC in La Liga

Then at 21:

00 CEST On Sunday night there was a big clash between Valencia CF and Sevilla FC at Mestalla. Normally, these two clubs would fight
