2 Premier League clubs told Ansu Fati they were ready to negotiate with Barca
According to Diario Sport's Lluis Miguelsanz (4 stars), Manchester United and Newcastle United have informed Ansu Fati's agent that they are open to negotiating with Barcelona over a permanent transfer. The next few weeks could be crucial for his future.
At the moment, Fati is not quite ready to leave the Camp Nou but his stance could change if Xavi tells him his role in the squad will not improve next season.
On the Barca side, they are ready to listen to Ansu's suggestions when it comes to fundraising and improving the Financial Fair Play Law. The Catalan side gave the green light to Jorge Mendes, Fati's agent, to find potential suitors. So far this season, Fati has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists in 41 appearances for Barca. However, Ansu has only played 13 games since the start.

The race to the Premier League title seemed to go straight to the point and should have been the sole focus of the Manchester City players at the moment, however, the agent of one of the club's top stars they expressed surprise at a transfer involving their client.
If Pep Guardiola's men are able to win against Arsenal and triumph in the match between the two teams, it will be difficult for any other team to live with them for the rest of the campaign.
The Catalan has apparently ensured that his captain, Ilkay Gundogan, has been offered a new contract, which Football Espana claims is for a year.
The outlet also noted that Barcelona appear to have offered the 32-year-old midfielder a two-year contract, however, it appears nothing has been agreed.
A representative for Gundogan and his uncle, Ilhan, said: “I am surprised at the source of stories about a deal that has been in place for weeks. "There is no agreement with any club. It has not been decided where he will play for the next few years.
“Ilkay can still win three major trophies this season as Manchester City captain. That's the only thing he's focusing on right now.
Such distractions are not welcome at any point during a season, let alone when you're finished in business and fighting for titles.
How are players supposed to keep an eye on the ball on the pitch, when supposedly there's always talk going on in the background? Maybe a Champions League, an FA Cup or another will keep the player or maybe he's craving a new adventure.
Anyway, now is not the time to tackle such questions.
