Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager
Manchester United are linked with a number of top strikers and one of them is the Denmark international, Rasmus Hojlund.
According to a story reported by Corriere della Sera yesterday (news image provided below), the Atalanta forward is a sought-after man in the market but it is uncertain if he will leave this season. this summer or not.
The Italian newspaper have mentioned that Man Utd are preparing to make a solid offer for a striker in the next transfer window and they are keen to sign Hojlund.
It is said that the Bergamo side will not hear any offers of around €60m and will need around €70m (£62.5m) to secure his signature.
Hojlund left Dynamo Kyiv to join Atalanta last summer and he has enjoyed success in Serie A. So far, the 20-year-old striker has started 15 matches and directly contributed to 10 goals (7 goals and 3 assists).
During the international break in Euro 2024 qualifying, the youngster scored a hat-trick to help Denmark win 3 points against Finland. Furthermore, he scored a brace in a 3-2 loss to Kazakhstan.
Man Utd need to end the season strong to qualify for the Champions League and with star striker Rashford absent through injury, things could get tricky.
For the next campaign, Erik ten Hag needs to prioritize a striker with proven quality. Should he shell out £62.5m for Rasmus Hojlund?
