Some players are not happy with Gavi getting on the ball in matches and not getting punished

Don't let Gavi's age fool you.

The young Barcelona player proves he is not an easy guy even though he is only 18 years old.

The Spain international has a reputation for not taking prisoners on the football field, and that was made extremely clear against Getafe.

The youngster took just 1 minute and 23 seconds to make his first foul of the game and received a yellow card in the process. He was cautioned after knocking out Turkish striker Enes Ünal and became the second-fastest Barcelona player to receive a yellow card in 18 years.

Goal reported, Gavi's excessive enthusiasm was not enough to help Barcelona win when they held a 0-0 draw. More surprisingly, it was Gavi's 64th foul of the La Liga season but only his 7th yellow card. He has yet to receive a red card.

Another 41 players in the league received more yellow cards than Barcelona players, despite making fewer fouls. Referees' reluctance to take out player cards has also been discussed recently, with Real Madrid players complaining that Gavi regularly fouls.

Vinicius Junior was particularly unimpressed with the youngster making his mark in El Clasico matches.

However, Barcelona fans praised the youngster and praised him for not letting opposing players get too comfortable during matches.

Gavi and Vini face off

Vinicius Junior and Gavi faced each other in the Copa del Rey semi-final between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The nimble winger and Gavi were involved in a moment of madness in the first half of the Spanish Cup in the giants' fifth encounter in El Clasico this season. The Brazilian stood across from Gavi as the two exchanged a few words before he pushed the young Spaniard away, Sports Brief reported.
