Arsenal's Premier League hopes were dashed once again at the London Stadium on Sunday following a disappointing 2-2 draw with West Ham United.
Mikel Arteta's side, like they did with Liverpool, lost their two-goal lead in Sunday's London Derby to a 2-2 draw as West Ham United became more determined in the game.
While Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur missed their chance to boost their ambitions to finish in the top four, Manchester United seized the opportunity with a remarkable 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon. The Reds have recovered from their most recent disappointment in the UEFA Europa League against Sevilla, with goals from Antony Santos and Diogo Dalot sealing the Reds' much-needed win.
Table 4 English Premier League:
Despite a disappointing 2-2 draw at West Ham United on Sunday, Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table with 74 points, while Manchester City hold onto second place with 70 points. Manchester United are ranked 3rd, while Newcastle United are in 4th place.

Fofana praises Lampard's influence on Chelsea despite poor performance
billdbyran
Following the dismissal of Graham Potter, Lampard was appointed as caretaker manager until the end of the 2022–23 season, although the Blues' performance did not improve. Lampard has seen three consecutive defeats since signing, against top side Wolves, Real Madrid and Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Young defender Fofana told Telefoot that Lampard has helped the team regain confidence despite this poor losing streak.
The second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final between Real Madrid was also discussed by Fofana at this stage. Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio scored both goals in the Blues' first leg loss at the Santiago Bernabeu, while Ben Chilwell, who started the first leg, will miss the return leg due to a red card on Wednesday night. According to the French teenager Fofana, the Blues' previous surprise Champions League wins will be a driving force for his side as they continue to believe they can win the match.
"Chelsea have achieved this after a difficult season, with a new manager. They won in 2021. As that is the club's DNA, I believe it is possible. We know that this season sucks. Now it's up to us to demonstrate our ability. This team has talent, he continued.
