In an era where most African countries are currently facing an economic crisis, Tanzania is receiving massive praise as its economy is rapidly growing. Tanzania voted for a female president Samia Suhulu Hassan and she became the president of Tanzania on 19 March,q 2021 as the sixth and first-ever female president of Tanzania, following the death of President John Magufuli. She was born on January 27, 1960.
After her ascension to the presidential throne, Tanzania’s economy has grown from $69.7 billion in 2021 to $85.42 billion in 2023. Her marvelous work has sparked conversations online, with users arguing in most African countries are ready for a female president. Many argue that, if ladies are given the chance to be presidents in Africa, most African countries would have been fully developed and massive growth would have been recorded.
