Liverpool transfer roundup: Klopp will let go of "top" talent, with Ryan Gravenberch on the way

After a challenging season, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is currently compiling his summer transfer shortlist, with a number of players set to leave Merseyside.

Liverpool enjoyed one of the few highlights of their season on Monday night, as they hammered Leeds 6-1 at Elland Road.

It's been a season to forget for the Reds. They are eighth in the Premier League table - nine points behind Newcastle in fourth - and have failed to win a major honour. As such, manager Jurgen Klopp may rebuild his struggling squad this summer.

Carvalho is ready to be chopped.

Despite signing Fabio Carvalho just a year ago, Klopp will allow him to depart Liverpool on loan this summer.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The 20-year-old forward joined Liverpool from Fulham for a fee of £5 million last July but has yet to make an impact on Merseyside. Carvalho has only scored three goals this season in all competitions.

He's just played two minutes of Premier League football since the World Cup in Qatar, which is telling. With Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, and Luis Diaz all on Liverpool's books, it's proving difficult for Carvalho to get a look in.
