Cristiano Ronaldo is facing deportation and expulsion after making a 'Lionel Messi gesture.'

Cristiano Ronaldo has himself in deep water after clutching his genitals in reaction to Lionel Messi taunting, forcing Al-Nassr to defend the star who is facing expulsion.

According to Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo is suffering from a groin problem as he risks deportation for clutching his crotch in front of supporters.

The Portuguese star had a disappointing night as his Saudi team was defeated 2-0 by Al-Hilal, losing ground in the title chase. Ronaldo was arrested for a WWE-style tackle and also for appearing to reply to Lionel Messi-related remarks.

Ronaldo seemed to grip his genitals in front of a part of the crowd, causing widespread outrage throughout the Kingdom. It sparked an internet campaign to get Ronaldo expelled from the country, with the slogan "Expelling the fan's abuser."

Nouf bin Ahmed, Ronaldo's lawyer, has reacted and wants him to be punished for his acts. "It is considered a crime of public dishonor, and it is one of the crimes that entails arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner," he stated on social media, adding that he intended to submit a complaint with the Saudi Prosecutor's Office for his "crime of public indecency."

Al-Nassr, on the other hand, has highlighted a "sensitive" injury in that area of the body in an attempt to downplay the gesture. The club's board of directors explained the situation to writer Muhammed Al-Enezi on Wednesday, saying, "Ronaldo is injured." His match with Al-Hilal midfielder Gustavo Cuellar began with a strike to a particularly sensitive spot This is true information. Fans are allowed to think whatever they want when it comes to explanations."

The challenge referred to by the club was severely criticized and earned English referee Michael Oliver a yellow card. While his team was losing 1-0, Ronaldo appeared to lose control, leaping up and pulling his opponent from behind after gripping him around the neck.

Given the animosity between the pair, who have dominated the game's individual honors throughout their careers, Ronaldo has long been attacked by Messi followers. Before beating Al-Nassr earlier this season, Al-Ittihad fans insulted the former Real Madrid player by holding up images of him.

Al-Nassr recently fired manager Rudi Garcia amid claims of player discontent. He has been replaced as interim manager by former youth team coach Jelicic, who appears to be unable to guide the club to the Saudi title with their recent defeat.

Ronaldo faced backlash for his decision to go to the Middle East following his acrimonious departure from Manchester United. The player is earning huge sums of money but is no longer competing for big European titles.
