Two wrongly convicted men have been found not guilty after spending 17 years in jail for a crime they didn't commit. The men identified as Dupree Glass and Juan Rayford were imprisoned in 2014 after they were found guilty of attempted murder. 17 years later, the two have been found guilty and will be compensated by $140 each for each day they spent behind bars totally an estimated amount of $900,000. After the news of their innocence came out and the compensation they are to receive, online users jumped into the comments section to express their dissatisfaction with the compensation they are to receive.
A few of the comments gathered from the comments are highlighted below;

“900k for 17 years is laughable. Give these men 2
million each AT LEAST”.
@designbyMO
“How about also paying for the pain they suffered,
paying for not being with their family, paying for the pain it caused their family, and also paying them for the fact that their partners might have walked away? Make due findings before incarcerating the wrong persons”.
@1stMaineiac
“I feel like that is low. I'd say $140 for every day in
prison and after for the same amount of years
served”.
@Jonasthawicked1
“Not nearly enough money. And the taxpayers shouldn't have to foot the bill when crooked DAs and judges wrongfully convict someone. Take the money out of their salary instead and I bet they stop withholding evidence”.
@TheJohnChristie
“These dudes making $17.5hr smh with these payments”.
@GameChangin
“They obviously deserve more smh. At least if they
invest it, they can easily quadruple that for the rest of their lives”.
@insurancerider
“The fine should come directly from the people who prosecuted the case. And then everyone, if they still have one should lose there jobs. If your actions caused your employ lose 900k you would be looking for a new job by the end of the day”.
@LakersFan234589
“That's it?? Can they sue for more or is this like set amount in their state??”.
@SwagMoss
“Not enough. They should be able to live like kings
after 17 years”.
@Yaboit80sbaby
“Not nearly enough should be triple that value but I'm taking my $900k and freedom any day!!!”.
flygare
“They should add another zero. Maybe even two”.
@manlikeTALLEST
“I still don't wanna go to prison to make such amount in even half a decade”.
