The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, has received donations from the Jospong Group of Companies in the form of 100 bags of food, boxes of oil, and an unknown sum of money.

The company's yearly contribution is made in order to help the Chief Imam cheer up his family and the Muslim community surrounding him on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the 30 days of Ramadan.

On Friday, April 21, 2023, Mr. Daniel Ohene Obeng, the group's acting director of communication and corporate affairs, delivered the goods to the national chief imam at his Accra home.

He said that the Jospong Group and the entire country appreciated Sheikh Dr. Sharubutu's efforts in managing national affairs and Ramadan. Muslims had a significant religious obligation to fast, which had to end in peace and joy.

To celebrate with his family and the people around him, the National Chief Imam is receiving the items as a token from Dr. Siaw-Agyepong and the whole Jospong Group.

He also took advantage of the occasion to wish the national Chief Imam, who will turn 104 on Sunday, April 23, a good birthday.

Sheikh Dr. Sharubutu thanked the firm and Dr. Joseph Siaw-Agyepong, the executive chairman, for the kindness and asked for God to elevate and guard the business and the executive chairman.

"May God honor him and his actions and grant him more of His blessings," the country's chief Muslim prayed.

Additionally, Sheikh Dr. Sharubutu prayed for Ghana and requested God's protection over the country.

He prayed for peace in the town and the surrounding nations, specifically mentioning Bawku.

He expressed his gratitude to God for the harmony and peace that exist in Ghana as a result of the coexistence of many religious groups.

Because all religions sprang from the same source—God—he said that religious variety is not a reason for conflict.

Adding that it was a blessing to put a grin on someone else's face, he stated, "If you put a smile on another person's face, you will never lack from God."

Sheikh Sharubutu said that the contribution will help them in their efforts to help the families who are vulnerable and in need.

and expressed gratitude for the gift to the business, its executive chairman, Dr. Siaw-Agyepong, and the whole Jospong Group.

In addition to teaching the Muslim Ummah discipline, Ramadan is a month of giving.
