Salah's Brace Propels Liverpool to 3-2 Comeback Victory Over Southampton
Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points after a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory against struggling Southampton. The Egyptian forward equalized in the 65th minute with a clinical finish, bringing his team back into contention. Ten minutes later, Liverpool’s relentless pressure forced Southampton into a defensive error, resulting in a penalty for the Reds. Salah calmly converted from the spot, securing his second goal of the game and completing Liverpool’s comeback. With this victory, Liverpool solidified their position at the top of the league, while Southampton remains anchored at the bottom, struggling to turn their season around.
